Sales & Planning Analyst

The Sales & Planning Analyst role will be a newly added position to a fast-growing small business. Europena Ingredients specializes in packaging and distribution of marinades to North American food retailers.

This role will create and maintain forecast models for products & customers by incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from a variety of sources. They will extract, analyze, and interpret data to create sales performance reports; track customer, market, and seasonal trends; and forecast purchasing and plan production accordingly. The role also includes documenting and analyzing quality assurance results.

Tasks include (not limited to):

  • Manage sales dashboard: Maintain accurate store counts, assist with sales rep targets, review of customer accounts
  • Review historical sales/product trends, prepare forecast data & purchase quantities according to needs and forecast models
  • Communicate regularly with production and sourcing teams regarding orders, shipment, ETA dates
  • Microbiological SOP’s to be followed and results documented in dashboard.
  • Recap, analyze and communicate actual results
  • Prepare and participate in weekly/monthly meetings

Skills and Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of related experience in data analysis/reporting/metrics
  • Proven analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities and deadlines
  • Experience in data manipulation, Knowledge of MS Excel is a must
  • Strong interpersonal skills, flexible and approachable, works well in a team.
